Permagrin Rentals wants to help people find their permagrin not their permafrown. An accident or injury is not good for anyone. We take safety very seriously and if you are looking for a machine or equipment to do above normal risky activity please look elsewhere. These activities will likely not end with a permagrin. For that reason Permagrin Rentals has several general and specific safety requirements for renting to help ensure you find your permagrin.

Safety of passengers and others with which rental could affect is the sole responsibility of the renter during the rental with no responsibility or liability placed on Permagrin Rentals LLC. Ensuring machinery or equipment is not damaged is also the full responsibility of the renter with no responsibility or liability placed on Permagrin Rentals LLC.

Must be 21 or older to rent and operate motorized water craft.

Absolutely no highly risky activity is allowed. An accident or injury isn't good for anyone. All laws and safety precautions must be upheld while operating. Anything that can be done to reduce injury or damage should done with the highest importance. Motorized water craft will likely have max speed limited. Safety needs to be the number one priority.

State boaters safety course, which can be found with an internet search, or equivalent completion is required for motorized water craft rental and operation but can be done anytime prior to taking out on the water. Additional safety videos highly recommended for anyone operating and driving.

Violation of boating laws or safety are 100% the responsibility and liability of the renter including all damages and are subject to fines including but are not limited to entire security deposit at Permagrin Rentals management's discretion.

Severe weather can create many issues that should be avoided. Boating in dangerous weather conditions using Permagrin Rentals watercraft or equipment is prohibited. If winds exceeding 25 mph or lightning is forecasted to occure during rental 24 hrs prior the rental will need to be rescheduled. Please contact Permagrin Rentals with forecast to reschedule if this is the case. Weather related issues are the liability of the renter and do not warrant refund but will be rescheduled based off renters requested times and calendar availability.

- No racing

- No jumping

- All safety labels and tags on water craft or equipment must be followed and adhered to.

- Motorized water craft to have engine off if anyone is in water within 10 feet to avoid potential injury.

- Proper equipment including personal flotation device, wetsuit bottoms or equivalent, and helmet must be worn at all times while using rental.

- Renter, operator, and anyone using watercraft or equipment must be completely sober. No substance use of any kind is permitted that could endanger others or damage the machine or equipment.

- Must be 150 feet away from all water craft, land, or other obstacles that could cause a crash to go beyond idle speed when renting motorized water craft.
